License Activation Instructions

An account is needed to manage a license.

You can create an account in two ways if you don’t have one already:

• You can create one and log in to it before purchasing a license.
• Or one will be created for you during checkout using the email address and user name you provide.
  When you complete your purchase, you will receive an email with instructions for setting up your password (this is necessary for managing your licenses).
  In the event you forget your password, the ‘Lost Your Password‘ link can be used to recover it.

License Activation:

1. After purchasing a license, navigate to ‘My Account’ -> ‘API Keys‘ to copy your API Key and find the license type you purchased.
2. Open Arise in Maya, and under the ‘Help’ menu, go to ‘Activate License’.
   
3. Enter your API Key, select your license type, and click ‘Activate License’.
   
4. Your license is now activated.
   As long as your license is active, ‘License Status’ appears as Active, and you will not see the license popup.

Deactivating A License
A license can be deactivated in two ways:

• A license can be deactivated on a machine by going to the ‘Help’ menu -> ‘Activate License’ window, entering the API Key, selecting the license type, and clicking ‘Deactivate License’.
• (Recommended!) go to ‘My Account’ -> ‘API Keys‘ tab. If you previously activated a license, you can deactivate it from here.
  

Toggle Auto-renewal On/Off

You can toggle auto-renewal of a subscription on or off by following these steps:

1. Navigate to the ‘My Account’ page under the ‘Subscription‘ tab.
2. On the subscription you want, click ‘View’.
   
   
3. Then, choose ‘Cancel’ to turn off renewal at the end of the subscription period.
   
   
4. Click ‘Reactivate’ to turn it back on.
